Disneyland Reveals 70th Anniversary Plans

To help guests plan their visits for the coming year, Disneyland Resort announced the start date and experiences for its milestone 70th anniversary celebration, along with the 2025 calendar of returning events, festivals and separately ticketed events. For 340 days out of the year, Disneyland Resort will feature a festival, limited-time celebration or unique offerings – adding to all the fun guests can enjoy all year long.

Beginning May 16, 2025, and continuing through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70^th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making. Highlights include the return of the fan-favorite “Paint the Night” parade and “Wondrous Journeys” nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Park, plus the all-new “World of Color Happiness!” and return of “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade at Disney California Adventure Park. Guests will “celebrate happy” with special décor, food and beverages, merchandise and more.

Disneyland Resort also released the 2025 dates for returning seasonal fun and festivals, including Lunar New Year, Season of the Force, Halloween Time and Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Separately ticketed after-hours events, Disneyland After Dark and Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, will also return in 2025. An infographic of key dates is attached.
