Billy’s Game Show Review

Billy’s Game Show is a clever mix of puzzles and dark humor which should appeal to gamers looking for a challenge.

The premise is simple; start up in a mysterious bunker, and activate generators which have to be primed frequently.

Players will search levels to find items to use while avoiding traps as they must find items and solve puzzles in order to advance. I made the mistake early of falling off the elevator platform which left me alive but unable to access the lift again and left me stranded on the generator level.

As the game progresses, players will find options to defend themselves against the new threats that arise the further they get into the game.

Death will cause players to fail the game and they will have to restart but hopefully will learn from their mistakes and make better choices the next time around.

The game has dated graphics but they fit as the focus is on gameplay versus bright and shiny graphics which places the focus on the gameplay. In the end; the game provides a solid and engaging game that will appeal to gamers looking to escape into a twisted Game Show.
