Today during the gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live showcase, three of Tencent’s global family of studios revealed new trailers and news on their games. Here’s a quick rundown of the information and links to the assets.
Path of Exile 2
Grinding Gear Games gave players a look at some of the powerful bosses that populate the dark world of Wraeclast in Path of Exile 2. Dune: Awakening
Funcom’s brand-new trailer features five minutes of gameplay charting a player’s rise from scavenging and survival to mobilizing an entire guild in the hunt for spice. The Open World Survival MMO Dune: Awakening will release in early 2025, with the console release coming later.

Dying Light: The Beast
Techland announced Dying Light: The Beast, a new game that connects the stories of Dying Light and Dying Light 2 in a thrilling 18+ hour stand-alone zombie adventure. Dying Light: The Beast sees the return of Kyle Crane (voiced again by Roger Craig Smith), the protagonist of Dying Light, introduces a new open world region with a variety of settings to explore, new abilities, enemies, weapons and vehicles and skill tree along with co-op for up to four players with shared progression. Dying Light: The Beast will be available for PC and current-gen and last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
