They say that big things come in small packages but when the player is the small package in a big world; perspective can take on a new meaning.
In Smalland: Survive The Wild players find themselves seeing the world from a miniature perspective where grass towers above you and ants and other diminutive items become deadly enemies or obstacles to circumvent.
Fortunately, there are ample resources to gather to fashion into weapons, tools, and encampments; all of which will be needed for survival as the world is as dangerous as it is beautifully detailed.
Players can customize their character and can also play with up to ten players which will be needed as the dangers are abundant as progress unfolds.
The game has some very engaging graphics and players have to be very tactical in their play as attempting to go toe to mandibles with an ant does not always go well without proper weapon use and evasion until proper gear can be fabricated.
Nature can be cruel as flowing water can take a player down quickly as durability is not a feature early in the game.
For a change if pace and a great blend of styles and gameplay; this is a visually appealing and diverse game that will grow on you.
