Looks like great news for WWE fans.
Thea Trinidad, also known as WWE Superstar Zelina Vega, has climbed to the top rope and somersaulted directly into Street Fighter™ 6 as the newest addition to the in-game commentator roster. Thea, a longtime Street Fighter™ fan, brings her strength, style, and electrifying personality to the growing roster of illustrious color commentators in Street Fighter 6. She is a current WWE Superstar, self-proclaimed gamer, and no stranger to the Street Fighter franchise, even modeling her ring gear as Juri at this weekend’s WWE Royal Rumble in San Antonio, Texas.
“I’ve been an avid gamer since I was a child and a huge fan of Street Fighter,” said Thea Trinidad. “I can still remember epic matches with my brother, and I would always beat him with my favorite character Vega. It’s surreal to now be a part of this amazing franchise and I am honored and thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Street Fighter 6 represents the next evolution of the Street Fighter series with a combo of unique fighting game innovations across three brand new game modes – Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub – and will be ready to take on all contenders when it launches worldwide on June 2, 2023 across PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
As a giant Street Fighter fan who has spent more quarters at arcades than most gamers, I can honestly say I don’t care about SF6 in any way.
I am not a huge Street Fighter fan but this one seems to be under the Radar. Perhaps when convention season gets closer we will get more news that gets the fans excited but I agree that there is not a ton of hype currrently.
