“Our products are a tangible extension of the stories fans know and love,” says Paul Southern, senior vice president, franchise and licensing,
Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios, Disney Consumer Products, Games and Publishing. “With this product assortment, we endeavored to celebrate both the classic Indiana Jones films, with those iconic characters and environments that have engaged fans for over 40 years, while also carving out space to introduce the new characters, vehicles and places fans will discover in ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ this summer.”
Two of 2022’s most successful movies,
“Jurassic World Dominion” and “Top Gun: Maverick” were deeply rooted in nostalgia
and the Indiana Jones franchise, which began with “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, is no different.
“For fans of classic Indiana Jones, the range of categories and licensees mentioned will largely honor classic Indiana Jones content with an assortment of goods,” adds Southern. “However, this is the first Indiana Jones installment in 15 years, so we know there is an appetite from existing fans for new and different merch to refresh their collections. But it’s also a chance to bring in new fans and introduce a new generation to the franchise. We hope the assortment of offerings ranging from adult to kids’ items will allow fans to relive and/or make their own Indiana Jones adventures at home.”
There will be an array of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” products across categories, which are set to be revealed closer to the film’s release.
However, License Global can also exclusively reveal the first range of Hasbro products related to the movie.
