The lovable crew from the “Ice Age” film series is back in their first film since Disney’s purchase of Fox. In “The Ice Age The Adventures of Buck Wild” fans will catch up with the gang as impish Crash (Vincent Tong) and Eddie (Aaron Harris) set out on their own after another one of their stunts causes havoc with the group.
Poorly prepared for the world that is around them; danger soon appears and a fortunate appearance by Buck Wild (Simon Pegg) allows Eddie and Crash some guidance as well as protection from the world around them.
As they venture into The Lost World; their family notices that they have gone missing and sets out to reunite them which leads to an adventure full of fun, danger, and adventure which will make fans of the series happy.
While it does not have the same impact of prior films in the series; the new outing is fun and engaging and with the film appearing on Disney+ and it will be interesting to see where the franchise will go under Disney as the characters have an enduring appeal.
