Saber Interactive To Reveal Multiple Titles At The Game Awards

It will be interesting to see what they have to announce.

Saber Interactive, the Embracer developer and publisher that brought you hit titles such as the zombie-action game series World War Z, the open-world trucking sim SnowRunner and more, is rapidly expanding its slate for 2022 and beyond. The company is teasing announcements for five upcoming titles later this week across The Game Awards and the Twitch Winter Gathering, airing Friday at 1:50pm PST on twitch.tv/twitchgaming.

“Saber is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and it’s amazing how much the company has evolved in that time. Our company has long been known for its sterling reputation as a developer, and since joining the Embracer family we have continued to grow on that front by acquiring some of the most talented studios from around the world. At the same time, we have been quietly building our publishing division and lineup which is about to rapidly expand with the announcement of multiple new titles for 2022 and beyond,” said Todd Hollenshead, Head of Publishing at Saber Interactive. “We will be revealing more from our upcoming, very diverse slate with announcements and trailer reveals later this week at both The Game Awards and the Twitch Winter Gathering. You’re going to be hearing a lot more from Saber moving forward.”

At The Game Awards on December 9, fans can look forward to a brand new game announcement and trailer from Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment. And three more Saber games will be revealed with world premiere trailers at Saber’s showcase in the Twitch Winter Gathering on December 10, in addition to an exclusive conversation between iconic Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell, The Game Awards’ own Geoff Keighley, and Saber’s Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits giving more insight into the upcoming highly-anticipated horror-action title Evil Dead: The Game.

Saber Interactive has spent the past few years gearing up its leadership team with veteran talent from around the industry to help take the company to new heights. This includes Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits, former studio director and co-owner at id Software; Head of Publishing Todd Hollenshead, previously the President and CEO of id Software; and Head of Marketing Adam Tedman, formerly Vice President, New Media at Rockstar Games.

The company has also greatly expanded its internal IP and publishing capabilities in recent years with the acquisition of a number of studios around the world through its parent organization, Embracer Group, including: 4A Games, 3D Realms, Aspyr Media, New World Interactive, Zen Studios, Sandbox Strategies, a leading gaming and entertainment PR and influencer relations agency, and more, with even further growth expected in the future.
