Are We Past Stopping Natus Vincere in CS:GO?

Natus Vincere is a fairly prominent CIS franchise. They were the first to win The Dota 2 International. They were one of the earliest professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive organizations in the region, too. Actually, Na’Vi, as the team is known for short, were competing even in the 2000s.

While the franchise has known a few difficult spells in its time, it seems like things have changed a lot. For one, the BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Sunday proved to be one of the most spectacular ones. To be perfectly honest, the odds found at https://csgoeasybets.com/ called Na’Vi the winners very early on, but it wasn’t until we saw Team Vitality that we were convinced ourselves.

This begs the question: how unstoppable is Natus Vincere in this season? The Blast Premier World Finals that will be played in mid-December certainly seem to have Na’Vi written all over them, along with the hefty prize share of the $1 million pool. Fans are already calling the most recent BLAST series the “Na’Vi” era, and it would take some arguing to convince anyone that it is not.

Vitality kept pushing in the Fall tournament, though, trying their utmost to recover from what seemed to be a well-oiled and merciless machine for punishing opponents. Na’Vi had been able to channel their momentum all year long and channel it into a devastating two-pronged approach.

On the one hand, there was Na’Vi’s own immaculate play. On the other, Vitality must have been at least slightly cowered by the high level of skill and aptitude demonstrated by Na’Vi during the tournament. It showed and Vitality did buckle on a few occasions, as if crumbling from within more so than being outplayed by Na’Vi.

Regardless, Na’Vi are showing one of their best performances and it’s not just a blip. While their Dota 2 certainly suffered over the last years (gone is the era of Dendi and Puppey), the CS:GO school of play has been able to thrive and demonstrate an unmatched ability to play. Many players today are incredulous at how successful the team is in the 2021 season as can be seen at best CSGO case opening sites

There is still hope and many worthwhile challengers who will try to dethrone Na’Vi. If they show the same pace of play though, that would be hard to execute. Either way, we will be there to have a look at the results.
