Fallout Gets An RPG Release
This looks like a must own for fans.
Modiphius Entertainment released Fallout: The Roleplaying Game, their pen and paper tabletop game based on the massively successful Fallout video game series. Using Modiphius’ popular 2D20 roleplaying rules system, core to other RPGs including Star Trek Adventures, Dune: Adventures in the Imperium, and Dishonored, Fallout players and Game Masters will create their own survivors, super mutants, ghouls, and even Mister Handy robots, and immerse themselves in a post-apocalyptic world. It’s time to climb out of the Vault and get adventuring!
Fallout: The Roleplaying Game’s 400-page hardbound rulebook features a gorgeous cover design evoking the iconic Vault-Tec jumpsuit. Inside, players will find rules and lore for roleplaying in the Fallout world, as well as concept art from the video games. Utilizing Modiphius’ celebrated 2D20 cinematic role-playing system, the Fallout RPG will take players on an exciting journey into the post-apocalypse! Also available is a bevy of post-apocalyptic-themed accessories including a custom dice set, a Game Master’s toolkit, and even more supplements to come!
Thanks to the easy learning curve of Modiphius’ cinematic and action-packed 2D20 system, newcomers to tabletop roleplaying will be able to learn as they play with a starter set designed just for them. The starter set includes pre-made characters, quick-start rules, a set of custom dice, and an original questline designed by Modiphius Entertainment — all presented in a handy softcover booklet.
Along with the new rulebook, Modiphius released the Fallout Dice Set, which includes everything a GM or player needs to get started. The high-quality custom dice set includes two D20s, Hit Location, and Damage Dice.
Arriving in North America in January 2022, and currently available in retail in other regions, the Fallout 2D20 Game Master’s Kit (GM Kit) will help Game Masters make their worlds even more immersive, with useful handouts, maps, pads of Character Sheets, and a book featuring common questions and answers a GM might encounter when playing.
