Samsung introduced the 980 – the newest NVMe SSD that will deliver lightning quick speeds at a more accessible price point. 980 features include:

  • Sequential read/write speeds of up to 3,500 and 3,000 MB/s, providing outstanding NVMe performance of PCIe 3.0 with DRAMless architecture

 

  • Newly upgraded Intelligent TurboWrite 2.0 that will offer a significant increase in performance sustainability

 

  • Power consumption is reduced by up to 36% and the power efficiency improved by up to 54% compared to the 970 EVO
