LEGO And Sega Partner For A Sonic the Hedgehog Set

Looks like a perfect match for fans.

SEGA announced a new partnership with legendary toy brand LEGO, with plans to produce a Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired set submitted through the LEGO Ideas program; a LEGO initiative that takes new ideas that have been imagined and voted for by fans and turns them into reality.

 

After receiving the prerequisite 10,000+ votes by the LEGO community, LEGO Group has greenlit the Sonic Mania Green Hill Zone LEGO Ideas® design created by 24-year-old UK-based Sonic fan, Viv Grannell. The set will feature the iconic characters and environments from SEGA’s critically acclaimed 2017 platformer, Sonic Mania, bringing together a perfect blend of Sonic’s past and future as the franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary this June.
