Looking forward to some Halloween fun once again.
Spooky season is upon us, Vault Hunters! Just in time for Halloween, the annual Bloody Harvest in-game event returns to Borderlands® 3. This limited-time seasonal event starts today and runs until November 5, so you only have a short time to face off against the fearsome Captain Haunt and his macabre minions in the pursuit of rare rewards that are only available during this event!
Your friendly Saurian shipmate Maurice is continuing his study of human customs and will once again give you a mission to collect Hecktoplasm from the ghosts that spawn after you kill haunted enemies – just look for enemies with a telltale green glow throughout the galaxy. Once you have enough Hecktoplasm, return to Maurice and he’ll open a portal to Heck, the blood-curdling abode of Captain Haunt.
Loot you collect in Heck will appropriately scale to your level and may come equipped with powerful Terror effects. As a fittingly festive reward for completing Challenges, you can also unlock a host of cosmetics, including a weapon trinket, an ECHO Device Skin, a shared Vault Hunter Skin, and – for the most dedicated demolishers of Heck – a coveted weapon skin:
- 4 Challenges Completed – ‘A Shrinking Feeling’ weapon trinket;
- 8 Challenges Completed – ‘Message from Beyond’ ECHO Device skin;
- 12 Challenges Completed – ‘Haunted Look’ shared Vault Hunter skin;
- 15 Challenges Completed – ‘Porphyrophobia’ weapon skin.
Bloody Harvest is free for all players, and though you only need a copy of the Borderlands 3 base game to participate, you can also complete event challenges within campaign add-on locations The Handsome Jackpot, Xylourgos, Gehenna, and Krieg’s Mind. Campaign add-ons are available for purchase separately.
As with all seasonal events, you have the option to opt in or out of the event via the main menu. But if you want to show off some supernatural spoils to your fellow Vault Hunters, you’d do well to take part in the mayhem that is Bloody Harvest before the event ends on November 5!
