Interesting looking comic and worth checking out.
Red 5 Comics, StoneBot Studios and King Features will cast a spell this October as they present a new take on the classic comic strip Mandrake The Magician in an all-new comic book series. More than 85 years after the original comic strip’s debut, this expansion of the Mandrake universe stars a new generation of heroes as they face off with familiar foes. Comic-Con@Home viewers today were treated to a first look at the new comic during a panel discussion between the series’ writer Erica Schultz and King Features’ Editorial Director for Comics, Tea Fougner.
Hitting store shelves in October, the new Mandrake, aka “Mandy,” will make her debut in the YA comic series Mandrake the Magician: Mandrake’s Legacy. The project is helmed by one of today’s most innovative writers, Erica Schultz, with beautiful and detailed interior art credited to Diego Giribaldi, Juan Pablo Massa and Moncho Bunge. The cover art will be provided by the talented Amelia Vidal (Marvel Studios & Boom Studios), with vibrant variant covers from artist Evelin Unfer.
You can find more information about Mandrake’s Legacy in the press release below and I have attached artwork for you here. You can check out the full Comic-Con panel here: https://www.comic-con.org/cciathome/2020/video/9sJqBdWzD5E
