Sacramento, Calif. – Today, Kings Guard Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, announced a partnership with IOGEAR, the maker of pro-quality livestreaming tools and Kaliber Gaming eSports peripherals and accessories. Through this partnership, IOGEAR will provide the Kings Guard Gaming team with high-quality products to use during gameplay and to enhance connections online with fans.
“Now more than ever, it is important to connect with fans virtually and IOGEAR’s innovative technology will further Kings Guard Gaming’s engagement efforts by allowing the Kings Guard team to livestream pro-quality content to fans,” said Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart. “Together, IOGEAR and Kings Guard Gaming will make 2020 a successful season on and off the virtual court.”

IOGEAR will equip Kings Guard Gaming with its latest high-performance Kaliber Gaming peripherals, including new HVER Pro X optical-mechanical keyboard and upcoming MMOMENTUM mouse for maximum advantage during the 2020 season. Additionally, the company will supply the team with livestreaming tools from its UpStream line to help them present pro-quality content to their fanbase.
On May 5, Kings Guard Gaming tipped off their third season in the NBA 2K League, which resumed gameplay remotely in light of the coronavirus pandemic. Currently tied for fifth place with a 6-3 record, Kings Guard Gaming is led by Head Coach DJ “TTPLOADING” Layton and consists of rookie power forward Rafel “Crush” Davis, rookie guard Matthew “Bash” Robles, rookie guard Hayden “Nasthetic” Caudle and veteran players shooting guard Waseem “Seemo” Talbert, power forward/center Connor “DatBoyShotz” and power forward/center Yusuf “Yusuf_Scarbz” Abdulla, who was named to the 2019 Intel Performance SZN 2 All-Defensive Team. This season follows the franchise’s first postseason appearance in 2019.
Tonight, Kings Guard Gaming will tipoff tournament action on 5 p.m. PT against Magic Gaming and return to play Hawks Talon GC at 7 p.m. PT. Fans can watch the games on ESPN2, Twitch and YouTube.
