Capcom Out Of PAX East And More Considering

Had a rep send this to me indicating Capcom was not going to attend PAX East and that another company may follow.

Treat this as a rumor for now but considering the source is reliable.

 

Just got word that Capcom is pulling out of Pax East and another company is thinking of doing so.

We were asked to remove the chat images but I am will say the source is a P.R. individual who has worked with a major game company and now works with several companies.

This trend is bad news for PAX East and GDC who have seen top companies pull out. Makes you wonder about E3 now.

 

Updated!!! Square Enix has now said they will cut back on what they had planned to bring to the show. This is bad for fans looking forward to the new Final Fantasy. With only a week to go, it will be interesting to see if anyone else pulls out. Stay tuned for updates as we have a team assigned to cover the show.
