It would be easy to take a new offering from BenQ for granted as the company has a long list of quality gaming monitors on their resume already. However the BenQ EX3203R sets a new standard for high-performance as it mixes a stylish curved 32inch screen with an impressive range of visuals which are ideal for gaming and multimedia use.
It can be easy when covering hardware to get bogged down in technical specs and lose sight of overall objective for the hardware in question and thankfully the EX3203R offers an easy plug and play use for those eager to get started as well as a range of customizations for those looking to do something other than gaming or standard desktop applications.
For more purposes; the focus was on gaming as well as some video editing and viewing and I am happy to say that the BenQ EX3203R exceeded all of my expectations.
With a 2560 X 1440 resolution; I was able to see all of my programs in sparking clarity and did not see any lag or tearing with my fast moving visuals thanks to an impressive refresh rate of 45 – 144 Hz Vertical and 30 – 167 kHz on the Horizontal.
The monitor was well-packaged and protected in its box and setup was very easy with an HDMI cable. I was up and running with the touch of a single button.
I set the game through its’s paces with a mix of games which included Battlefield V, Fallout 76, Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII, Strange Brigade, Hunt: Showdown, Grand Theft Auto Online and others, the monitor provided reliable performance and superior visuals and experiences time and again.
For those looking for a strong visual monitor for gaming who do not want to get into the 4K threshold yet, then the EX3203R may just be the ideal solution.
