DreamHack Open is returning for its seventh year running and will in 2018 once again feature the popular team-based FPS game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, each event featuring 8 teams competing live for a $100,000 prize pool. DreamHack Open will be featured at 8 of DreamHack’s gaming festival events across Europe and North America, with the first having taken place in Leipzig, Germany in January.

DreamHack Open was launched in 2012, and as DreamHack’s premier esports circuit enters its seventh year, over $3.1 million in prize money has been awarded to gamers and is furthermore one of the longest running esports tournament circuits in the world.
