THE WALT DISNEY STUDIOS TO RECEIVE CINEMACON’S
EXCELLENCE IN EVENT CINEMA AWARD
DURING INDUSTRY PANEL EVENT
WHAT: CinemaCon’s Excellence in Event Cinema Award will be presented
to The Walt Disney Studios for their continued interest and success in creating
theatrical experiences around content from the company’s various business units. The
award will be presented by Ray Nutt, CEO of Fathom Events, a recognized leader in
event cinema distribution. Dave Hollis, President of Theatrical Distribution for The
Walt Disney Studios, will accept the award on behalf of the studio.
The award will be given immediately prior to a panel
discussion on the future of event cinema, featuring
Nutt and other key players in the industry.
