Playstation Services Now Subject To State Tax

They say death and taxes are the only things you can be certain of in life. So I guess it is no shock that Sony PlayStation services are now being taxed in several states according to this new e-mail

 

Hello valued PlayStation customer,

We are writing to inform you that PlayStation®Store, including all services such as PlayStation Vue, PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Now, and PlayStation Music, will start collecting tax in your state starting April 1, 2017. The sales tax charged on each order is determined by your state, county and city tax rates.

    Im a firm believer that all online games should be free. Remember PS3. Free. These companies have more money than many top companies. Theyre internationaly known. This is just another way to suck the life out of the people. Take a moment to reflect on all the taxes, fines, fees, donations, etc. Always making the poor poorer. Its rediculous. There is no middle class since the mid 90’s. Its rich and poor. Wtf
