Web security firm Imperva monitored web traffic during the Star Wars film premiere of The Force Awakens reporting the following results.
The Imperva Incapsula network monitored a 4.09% decline in US and 3.64% in Canada at the time of the first IMAX screenings.
US traffic for the next 24 hours declined by 5.15%, likely as a result of West coast screenings having a compound effect. This could also be attributed to people staying offline to avoid reading any spoilers.
