When an epic video game series needs a comeback and we have to wait for the sequel developers usually play the remaster card, this is the case with God of war 3. I’m a huge God of War 1 and 3 fan always have been since day 1 on Ps2 although I missed out on God of War 2 due to that being the time other PlayStation novelties took over my playtime such as Jak/Daxter and tons of fighting games so it’s safe to say I was busy. As for God of War 3 I bought it on release date for ps3 it’s my favorite hack n slash to date and I’d love for this to be my first next gen Remaster. I have not gotten around buying it yet but I plan to give it a chance as soon as possible I highly suggest you guys check out either the original or the remake when you get the chance and not make the same mistake I did.
PS3 owners were able to get the GOW collection which offered all the GOW games that were available to date on one collection with the non-PS3 games getting the remastered treatments, but for such an iconic game series, I think I would just be asking for more if I wanted this collection for the PS4.
Sony is liking looking at the sales of GOW III remastered as a test as strong sales may induce the company to look at other remastered releases and dare we hope, announce new GOW games for the PS4. For now, I will happily return to the GOW universe and I suggest you do so as well.
