2014’s Emerald City Comic Con attracted fans from every corner of the grand spectrum of all things geeky. It is a celebration of everything from comics to science fiction and everything in between and I mean EVERYTHING!!
Every year tickets for ECCC sell out earlier and earlier. It is safe to say if you want to attend, purchase your tickets early!! I like that local comic stores offer tickets to purchase for the event. This makes it easy if you want to purchase them in person rather than online. And as a plus you get to visit a great comic store. I also think that they have made it much easier, once tickets are purchased online they then by send your tickets through the mail the week prior so as to not wait in those extremely long lines.
This year the con hosted a multitude of celebrity guests, authors, artists and vendors. Exploring the exhibition floor is my favorite though I spent most of my time at the con in the panels. Often times people think that going to panels are boring and just a chance to rest. Yes, it is a great way to rest however you will be entertained all the way through.
Attending any comic convention is always in my opinion worth the money you pay. Not only do you get to see a wide array of fantastic costumes you get to meet people who share the same interests and if your lucky you’ll get a bunch of swag. Most of all you will have great time and make memories that will last a lifetime.
