I got some hands on time with the game today and though it was limited to the Pod Race segment only, It was still tons of fun. I did not get to do any of the Jedi stuff that we saw at E3, but the pod was very responsive, and hitting the turbo was as easy as shoving your hands forward and pulling back.
The game had a solo or split screen mode for two players and even gave me a choice of three different racers in the demo.
During my race over the desert, I was assailed by Buzz droids, Wamp Rats, and other hazards which added up to a very challenging and fun experience. That is if you do not mind your pod catching on fire and slamming into a canyon wall.
