Sigourney Weaver, John C. Reilly and Alia Shawkat have joined the comedy “Cedar Rapids” for Fox Searchlight says Variety.
Ed Helms plays a sad-sack insurance agent who goes to an industry convention to try and save the jobs of his colleagues.
Weaver plays Helms’ former seventh-grade teacher. Anne Heche also stars.
Miguel Arteta directs from a script by Phil Johnston and Helms. Alexander Payne is producing and shooting is currently underway.
