Ramada: Ontario CA

Last weekend we travel to Ontario California and stayed at the Ramada hotel. This was our first trip since January due to the current world situation and we were a bit curious and slightly nervous about how staying at a hotel during this time would be.

Our check in was easy although we were not allowed to enter the lobby and had to complete our business through the night window.

There was ample free parking much of it covered and although the complimentary breakfast was not an option during the current conditions; our room was very clean and inviting.

The room contained two queen size beds and a flat screen HD television.  There was also a table and chairs as well as shelf space and a coffee maker.  We were also very happy to see that a fridge and microwave were part of the room as was a safe, ironing board, and iron.  The bathroom had the sink and counter space outside the shower area but also included a convenient hairdryer for guests to use.

I was really impressed with the television in that it offered an exceptionally large selection of stations including HBO and a full package of DirecTV options.  It certainly made for unwinding after busy days easier.

The beds were firm but comfy and we were pleasantly surprised that we did not have any of the usual stiffness that accompanies stay at a hotel after being accustomed to our memory foam mattress.

The room also offered free Wi-Fi and a very solid connection which allowed us to keep updated with family as well as check various things such as store hours while we planned our errands and media coverage before seeing family.

Check out was very prompt and pleasant and we really appreciated the service from the clerk and she checked us in as well as out during our stay.  There were a couple of minor issues during our stay mostly related to the booking side of things but they were quickly addressed and the facility manager was very quick to call after our visit and went above and beyond to address the concerns.

The hotel is located close to various dining options and is just off the highway and near a gas station.  The locale also offers very easy access to Rancho Cucamonga which offers numerous dining and shopping options.

For those looking for a value priced stay with solid amenities; you want to check out Ramada in Ontario the next time you’re in the area.
