Hardspace: Shipbreaker Tips And Tricks

I have been playing this for a few weeks now and here are some hints and tips on how not to blow yourself up. For me the keys are to be careful where you cut as doing it near a reactor, oxygen bottle, or power unit can be bad. Also make sure to equalize the pressure before you cut into the hull to avoid blowback.

Blackbird Interactive and Focus Home Interactive’s spaceship salvaging sandbox game Hardspace: Shipbreaker has fast become a hit since it arrived on Steam Early Access last week. Now Blackbird Game Director Trey Smith is here with a new tips and tricks trailer to help you survive the dangerous life of a cutter in zero-g.

Today’s video offers a quick breakdown of how your tools and ships function, as well as how to avoid going even further into debt with the Lynx Corp. Learn how to master the grapple, cutter and tethers, safely handle fuel and power systems without blowing yourself (and your salvage) up, and play with coolant in some creative, physics-based ways. You’ll be upgrading your gear, taking on more challenging contracts, and slicing like a pro in no time!

Throughout early access, players can expect regular content updates delivering additional spaceship classes, missions, game modes, leaderboards, modding support and more.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker is available for 20% off on Steam Early Access for a limited time. The game is also in development for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.
