SeaWorld Celebrates Dia de los Muertos

We are not due to go until December but this looks fun.

SEAWORLD CELEBRATES DIA DE LOS MUERTOS THIS WEEKEND
WITH STROLLING MARIACHIS, SPECIAL CULINARY OFFERINGS AND MORE

WHAT: SeaWorld will celebrate the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos with a six-piece strolling mariachi band, a cookie decorating station and Mexican cuisine and beer. Plus, guests can honor a lost loved one by writing their name on a card and adding it to the gate in front of the ofrenda. It all takes place at SeaWorld’s special Dia de los Muertos realm, which features large, beautifully dressed Catrina statues, and an ofrenda (offering) table with mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have left us.

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2 and 3, 2019

WHERE: Just south of Manta, SeaWorld

DETAILS: Six-piece Mariachi Nuevo San Diego, dressed in traditional costumes and Catrina face paint, will perform four strolling sets:
11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Tribute to Loved One cards: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to tacos and burritos, SeaWorld will also offer elotes, concha (Mexican sweet bread) ice cream sandwiches, seasonal beers and Micheladas.
