LAST CHANCE TO SPLASH AT AQUATICA: Aquatica SeaWorld’s Waterpark is winding down its seventh season, with one last weekend (Oct. 5–6) to splash, slide and play all day, with experiences ranging from serene to extreme.  Among more than a dozen attractions are Taumata Racer, a thrilling mat-racer water slide; Big Surf Shores, a large wave pool, lined by an expansive sandy beach; several children’s play areas including Walkabout Waters; Tassie’s Twister, a multi-person raft that sends riders through thousands of gallons of swirling water before dropping them into a sixstory funnel; and Loggerhead Lane, which offers a leisurely float down a winding lazy river. Aquatica is located at 2052 Entertainment Circle in Chula Vista. 

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR UNDER WAY AT SEAWORLD: SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular is San Diego’s finest, family-friendly Halloween festival, where kids can dress in costume and dive into an ocean of Halloween fun. Halloween Spooktacular, featuring the Sesame Street Halloween Parade, the safest trick-or-treating in town, Clyde & Seamore’s Big Halloween Bash sea lion and otter show, costume parties and more, continues on Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 27, 2019. New this year: SeaWorld’s Fall Festival at the Waterfront complete with a hay maze, seasonal treats and more, all with a spectacular view of Mission Bay; and a special purchased map that helps kids to find ocean-inspired pumpkins throughout the park.
