Captain Marvel Comes To Marvel Strike Force To Celebrate Huge Revenue Generation

With the movie releasing tomorrow; this is a great idea.

MARVEL Strike Force, the award-winning free-to-play RPG mobile game from FoxNext Games, is about to celebrate its first anniversary (March 28) with the game’s largest update since launch, Alliance War. Additionally, FoxNext has revealed that the game has generated $150 million within its first year of operation.

In the new Alliance War mode, groups of players, an “alliance,” create and populate their own SHIELD Helicarriers, choosing the layout of rooms, heroes and villains, and then raiding other alliances. The new gameplay mode will test player coordination, roster power and in-game strategy in a quest to dominate other alliances and climb to the top of the leaderboards. The Alliance War update is slated to go live towards the end of March.

To further celebrate the game’s successful first-year, FoxNext Games joined forces with one of the most accomplished players in the game, “Widowmaker,” to help unlock Captain Marvel for the entire player community. “Widowmaker” completed one of the most difficult quests in MARVEL Strike Force, the Dark Dimension. In choosing his reward, he worked with FoxNext developers to make the popular character available to everyone in the game. Captain Marvel will be unlocked for all current players in game starting March 14.

MARVEL Strike Force is the debut title from FoxNext Games, created by a team of veteran game developers who have helped create genre-defining strategy games such as Command and Conquer and Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth. MARVEL Strike Force’s success comes from FoxNext’s experience in creating free-to-play games that are deeply immersive, rooted in the rich narrative of their source material and designed to be played for years. The game is a unique take on the Marvel Universe, where players enlist both Super Heroes and Super Villains to fight side by side to defend earth against a cosmic threat. Since the game’s release, the Fox Next team has added 27 new characters to create a massive roster of 92 legendary characters, with more to come throughout 2019 and beyond.
