With so many headphone options available to consumers it can be confusing and difficult to find the best one. Companies tout their audio features and quality but sometimes the only way to really judge if the sound is ideal for you is to try the headset or to go on reputation and reviews.
Sennheiser has released the GSP 600 and it offers a sleek, stylish, durable, and versatile unit with great audio and comfort. The unit uses plastic and metal composition in a combination that is both durable yet comfortable to wear. The unit works with PC, PS4, and Mac and can be used with other platforms with appropriate adapters.
It is important to note that the unit was designed for Pro Gaming so even if you are a more casual gamer; you will like many of the features it offers. I mentioned that it was comfortable and I liked the placement of the cable being a bit further back than some other headsets as I am often annoyed by them brushing up against me when I play.
The microphone was very good at producing quality spoken audio and it even worked well when tested on dictation software. The flip to mute aspect of the unit was also a very nice feature and the adjustable controls are easy to access without having to take a break from the gaming action.
The unit also offers great noise cancelling effects as background noises are nicely filtered out which makes it ideal for those who want to work or play without distraction.
Of course the final factor will be how does it sound and I can safely say… amazing. From Fallout 76, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and several others, it performed very well on our system.
