Saguaro Hotel: Scottsdale

Recently my wife and I stayed at the Saguaro hotel in Scottsdale, AZ. This was the rare non-business trip where our time was completely our own so we took advantage of a Friday getaway after a busy week. The check in was very easy and the scenic décor was very inviting. Our room was very modern with a nice view of the pool area and a large bed, coffee machine, flat screen television and plenty of space to go along with good Wi-Fi.

Although the hotel does offer dining options and a coffee shop which was very helpful the following morning; we opted to walk around the beautiful Old Town section of Scottsdale. The Holiday decorations were abundant and although many shops were closing for the evening, there were still many dining options available.

We had a nice dinner at a Mexican Restaurant which also featured live music and we enjoyed a pleasant walk back to our hotel. We walked around the pool area and amazed at the lounges and Cabana options and made a note to keep the hotel in mind during the Spring months as it looked like an ideal way to pass a day relaxing by the pool.

The hotel also features a Gym which we made sure to tour and enjoyed the stylish lighting that illuminated the courtyard area which clever patterns.

Since it was now getting dark and cold, we went back to the room and relaxed for the evening.

When we had to check out, we had a very easy process and the Valet was even kind enough to get our door for us even though we had used self-parking. With an early morning errands ahead of us; we were very happy with the opportunity to get away for a relaxing evening and look forward to a future stay.

The hotel also features Spa services and the ability to use a bike to get around the many abundant shops, dining options, and points of interest in the area.
