Looking forward to seeing what they have this year.

SEAWORLD’S HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR IS SAN DIEGO’S PREMIER FAMILY FUN

AND NOT-TOO-SPOOKY CELEBRATION THIS FALL

Plus Kids Can Visit the Park for Free Through October

SAN DIEGO (Sept. 18, 2018) — San Diego’s finest ocean-inspired and family-friendly Halloween festival takes center stage again this haunting season. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular —featuring special shows, hilarious Halloween characters and the safest trick-or-treating in San Diego —kicks off at the marine park Saturday, Sept. 22 and surfaces every Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 28. And how’s this for the ultimate treat without a trick: SeaWorld is offering one child, aged 3 to 9, FREE admission with one full-paid adult admission through October!

Headlining Spooktacular this year is the all-new Sesame Street Halloween Parade. This nighttime spectacular features Sesame Street favorites like Big Bird, Elmo, Zoe, and more dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Featuring 10 larger than life floats and a cast of high-energy dancers, this parade will surely have guests dancing into the Halloween spirit!

SeaWorld’s fishy Halloween Spooktacular activities are fun for the entire family. Once again, the park is providing families with children the safest trick or treating experience in San Diego at 10 ocean-themed trick-or-treat stations. Children 12 and under are encouraged to dress up in their finest Halloween costumes.

Along with an undersea pumpkin patch with wacky and roaming Spooktacular characters who pose for photos with park guests, SeaWorld’s double-launch roller coaster Manta will begin with an unexpected turn into darkness for the Halloween season. Ghostly special effects and creepy sounds inside the launch station transport riders in the middle of madness —Manta Madness.

Back by popular demand is the celebration of the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos. Large, beautifully dressed Catrina statues will welcome guests as they discover ofrendas (offerings) of mementos and flowers honoring loved ones who have left us.

Monsters of all sizes can do the mash at the Spooktacular dance party where DJ Cotton Candy will spin sweet beats that will set the bewitching vibe for a ghoulishly fun costume party! On the dance floor, guests can mingle with candy-inspired characters such as Lolly Pop N’ Lockit, Tabitha Taffy, and new marine-inspired characters like Loretta Lobster and Capt. Percival Pelican.

For a howling good time at this year’s festivities, guests can creep over to the Clyde & Seamore’s Big Halloween Bash performance at the park’s Sea Lion and Otter Amphitheater. In this show, prank-loving sea lions Clyde and Seamore and the always-mischievous O.P. Otter get in the Halloween spirit.

As the sun starts to set, SeaWorld’s underwater pumpkin patch comes to life with a trio of singing jack-o-lanterns. Dance along as they sing some Halloween classics.

In addition to taking advantage of SeaWorld’s free single-day child ticket with one full-paid adult admission, dads and mummies can unwrap the same offer at Dine With Killer Whales where each child dines free with the purchase of a full-paid adult, all at poolside tables near SeaWorld’s family of killer whales. Plus, a child age 10 to 12 can participate for free in SeaWorld’s Dolphin Interaction Program (DIP) or Beluga Interaction Program (BIP) with one full-priced adult participant per interaction (children must be at least 4 feet tall to participate).

SeaWorld is open year-round and has a variety of admission ticket offers that provide tremendous value perfect for both Southern California residents as well as tourists visiting San Diego. Park hours vary by season. Visit www.SeaWorldSanDiego.com or call (619) 222-4SEA for hours and information.
