Payback! Joanna Jedrzejczyk reclaims her throne as the Women’s Strawweight Champion by defeating current Champ Rose Namajunas less than five months after Rose stunned Joanna at UFC 217… of course none of this is official until the actual fight happens, but according to EA SPORTS UFC 3, a Joanna victory and potential rubber match is on the horizon for UFC fans.
Ahead of this weekend’s highly anticipated rematch between Champion Namajunas and #1 Jedrzejczyk at UFC 223, UFC 3 ran a simulation that saw the two Strawweights exchange blows throughout the first two rounds, with Joanna landing multiple strikes and Rose recording the first takedown of the match early in the second round. Midway through the second frame, Joanna connected on a combination of punches, followed by a massive right leg head-kick that put Namajunas on the mat for good.
UFC 3 will be offering a free trial from April 5 – 9 on both PS4 and Xbox One where EA Access Members will get to try out up to 10 hours of the game for free, while other players will have 5 hours.
