NVIDIA Releases New Drivers For Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor And Ansel Support
Just installed them and eager to see what they do.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor™ won more than 50 industry awards, and tomorrow we get the highly anticipated sequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of War™. GeForce Gamers are Game Ready for Middle-earth: Shadow of War today with our latest Game Ready Driver. This driver will also offer the best experience in Arktika 1 and The Evil Within 2. The driver also delivers big boosts in Forza Motorsport 7.
Available on or before launch day, NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers provide the best experience for GeForce gamers in these titles because NVIDIA engineers work up until the last possible minute to optimize performance and perfect gameplay. And as an additional verification of quality, every Game Ready Driver is WHQL-certified by Microsoft.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War Supports NVIDIA Ansel on Launch Day!
Another important aspect of NVIDIA Game Ready drivers is that at they are often used as a delivery mechanism to add new features for our GeForce users. This Game Ready driver adds support for NVIDIA Ansel to Middle-earth: Shadow of War. You may recall that at Gamescom NVIDIA, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions, announced they are collaborating on the PC version of Middle-earth: Shadow of War. NVIDIA worked with Monolith to add NVIDIA Ansel other advanced PC features, such as HDR, which creates a wider range of brightness, making the game more lifelike and immersive.
To celebrate the release of Middle-earth: Shadow of War with NVIDIA Ansel we are adding Middle-earth: Shadow of War to our ‘Shot with GeForce’ contest.
Ansel is supported in Agents of Mayhem, ARK: Survival Evolved, Aven Colony, Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition, CAT Interstellar, CHKN, Conan Exiles, Dark and Light, Dishonored 2, For Honor, Formula Fusion, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Kona, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Obduction, Paragon, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, Raiders of a Broken Planet, Snake Pass, Tekken 7, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Transformers Online, War Thunder, Watch Dogs 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and The Witness. It is supported in the Unity Engine and in the Unreal Engine as a plug-in and will be coming to Amazon Lumberyard.
Forza Motorsport 7 Sees Performance Improvements of up to 25%
Our driver team’s job does not end once a game launches. They work tirelessly to continue improving performance even after a game launches. The fruits of their labor can be seen with the performance improvements in Forza Motorsport 7, which exhibits performance improvements between 15 and 25 percent, depending on the GPU and configuration you are testing.
Game Ready for Arktika.1 in VR
Having the best possible quality for a game at launch is important, and it becomes even more important in VR titles. Gameplay issues or bugs can break immersion and ruin a VR experience. Our long-running Game Ready driver program delivers the best possible experience by optimizing performance and latency, which is especially important for smooth, stutter-free Virtual Reality gameplay.
Today’s game Ready Driver will provide the best VR experience for Arktika 1. From the creators of the Metro series comes a new vision of the apocalypse. Arktika.1 is a highly immersive, action-packed, first-person shooter designed exclusively for Oculus Touch
