NVIDIA Game Ready driver for DiRT 4 and Nex Machina

Time to update for E3.

Today NVIDIA released the new NVIDIA Game Ready driver for DiRT 4 and Nex Machina.

Available on or before launch day, NVIDIA Game Ready Drivers provide the best experience for GeForce gamers in these titles because NVIDIA engineers work up until the last possible minute to optimize performance and perfect gameplay. And as an additional verification of quality, every Game Ready Driver is WHQL-certified by Microsoft.

Game Ready to power slide your way to glory in DiRT 4!

With DiRT 4 (the official game of the FIA World Rallycross Championship) Codemasters builds off much of what made the previous DiRT games so appealing: authentic racing, diverse locations, a massive variety of vehicles, different modes of play, and, of course, competitive matches.

If you wish to experience all this racing goodness for yourself, at the highest settings, at 60 frames per second or above, the GeForce GTX 1060 is the GPU of choice for 1920×1080 gaming, having handily exceeded the target in our extensive testing. At 2560×1440, a GeForce GTX 1070 is recommended, and for 3840×2160 (4K), only a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will suffice (note: disabling MSAA at 4K will enable the GeForce GTX 1080 to exceed 60 FPS). DiRT 4 players will want to use this driver.

Game Ready to blast the bad guys like it’s 1990- Nex Machina

Back in the early 1990’s, arcade shooters were at the peak of their popularity. Some of the best ones, including the legendary Smash TV, required lightning-quick reflexes, dual-hand dexterity, and a small bit of luck. Nex Machina aims to replicate all of those dynamics, but to do so with 2017 graphics, smooth stutter-free framerates, and a wealth of competitive and cooperative gameplay options.

All of Nex Machina’s action is best experienced at a fluid 60 FPS, so we’ve run our range of graphics cards through a battery of tests to find the best cards for the three most popular resolutions. For 1920×1080, the GeForce GTX 1060 came out on top, blitzing the 60 FPS benchmark with ease, even with advanced options like Particle Shadows and Screen Space Reflections enabled and maxed out. At 2560×1440, a GeForce GTX 1070 is recommended, and for 3840×2160 (4K), a GeForce GTX 1080 is the card to get for jaw-dropping shmup gameplay.

Optimized settings

Whichever GPU you choose for DiRT 4 and Nex Machina, GeForce Experience can provide one-click Optimal Playable Settings to instantly get you into the game with the best possible graphics for your system. In addition, you can use GeForce Experience to record and upload all your best runs and high scores, and to capture and share screenshots. And from within GeForce Experience you can also download the Game Ready driver for an optimized experience for these top titles.
