Ubisoft Announces Free Play Weekend For Steep
I am going to check this out as it looks like fun.
Steep is back and free for a weekend! We’d like to invite you to return to the slopes and review the new region, Alaska, to see how these improvements will impact your experience during the new challenges in the extreme peaks of Mount Denali. Alaska is available via a free game update on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The press release with more information about Alaska is attached for reference.
You can plan out your journey, or just drop in and start skiing, snowboarding, snowboarding or paragliding! Here’s a few cool things to check out:
- Grinding: In Alaska, there’s new spots to try adding a new spin to tricks, including more colorful villages and snow banks. Grinding on rails is now easier in Steep, and you can combine these with other tricks to create truly sick stunts.
- Spinelines: Exploring Alaska in Steep can feel just like it would in real life. With long, winding trail of spineline down the side of epic Mount Denali, you can cut and carve your way to sweet lines.
- Editor Mode: New camera angles are available for your editing pleasure! You can also remove the HUD to ensure your final creation is polished and nothing gets in the way of showing off crazy stunts.
Ubisoft also announced today that Steep will be Free to Play this weekend from March 10-12. In addition to being able to play for free, new fans who decide to purchase Steep will be able to do so at a discount. I’ve attached the press release for your reference.
