WHAT:
Legion M, the world’s first fan-owned entertainment company, launches its “Legion Does Good” initiative this holiday season. Legion M and LiningUp.Net have joined forces to fill the TCL Chinese Theater with super-fans on Thursday, December 15th for the 7:00 p.m. opening night screening of ROGUE ONE: A Star Wars Story to benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation.  This worthwhile charity brightens the lives of seriously ill children across the US and Puerto Rico by funding pediatric hospitals’ and clinics’ critical needs.  Starlight supports over 27 million visits each year, transforming the lives of millions of children through exceptional health care services. Starlight Children’s Foundation was LiningUp.Net’s charity partner in 1999, 2002, 2005, and 2015, and Legion M is thrilled to partner with LiningUp.Net and Starlight Children’s Foundation to help raise funds for Starlight’s vital mission.
Legion M will be hosting several top cosplayers in Star Wars costume for photo opportunities prior to the screening, 2pm on.

About LiningUp.Net
In 1999, 2002, and 2005, devoted fans stood outside of Hollywood’s Chinese Theatre for weeks – waiting eagerly for the next installment of the fabled Star Wars saga, and gathering in force to celebrate the next piece of cinematic history. Since 1977, lining up has been a hallmark of the Star Wars experience. LiningUp.net – the organizers of the enormously successful Star Wars prequel lines – once again stood in line in 2015, this time for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and raised money for their long-time charity partner, Starlight Children’s Foundation.
About Starlight Children’s Foundation
Each year, more than 30 million children in the US suffer from a critical, chronic or terminal illness.  Many of these kids experience long hospital stays, painful medical treatments and sometimes a scary and uncertain future. Starlight turns pain, fear and stress into laughter, fun and joy – because a sick kid is still a kid at heart. Starlight partners with world-class brands and companies, charitable foundations, socially aware groups and organizations and philanthropic individuals to bring entertainment, education and innovative technology to sick kids through their nationwide network of community partners.
