Andy Serkis: Behind The Scenes Star Citizen Video

Over the years Andy Serkis’ name has been connected to some of the most notable performance capture roles ever. From his portrayal of the depraved creature Gollum in Lord of the Rings to Caesar in the recent Planet of the Apes series, Serkis is pushing the boundaries of performance capture. His Imaginarium studios in London is where some of the top P-cap production takes place.
One of his latest endeavors is Star Citizen’s Squadron 42. The motion and performance capture for Squadron 42 was shot at The Imaginarium last spring. Today we are releasing a Behind the Scenes piece highlighting Serkis’ role, the Vanduul Thul, in the game.
