Will Sony Blow Consumers Away With Their Pending Vegas Showcase.

As Black Friday sales and crowds rage all around the world, Sony is putting the finishing touches on their pending Las Vegas showcase. Even though they have a presentation planned for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in January, Sony has opted to also do a December showcase in Las Vegas.

While details have been kept secret, we have been told there will be some very impressive announcements and news given at the show.

This is a very interesting move as the event will take place roughly 5-6 weeks ahead of C.E.S. so many wonder why there would be two events so close to one another.

Sony has been fairly quiet while their rival Microsoft has made sales strides by reducing the price of their system and launching two new exclusives titles.

Aside from Little Big Planet 3, many have wondered why Sony is being so quiet at this important time of the year for sales.

It is our belief that Sony will come out with guns blazing and will announce a series of console bundles at a very competitive price which will go into effect in time for the Holiday Season. We know of the White PS 4 Destiny bundle but there are also the Grand Theft Auto 5 and The Last of Us Remastered bundles to factor in.

While games like The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne are set for 2015, expect Sony to announce several new games to build the hype. It is an interesting strategy where consumers will be bombarded with exclusive content that will not come out until next year, but should help increase demand for the system as well as build anticipation amongst those who already own the system.

We have all heard about Uncharted 4, and the rumored Ratchet and Clank, but expect several new games to be announced. As to what they are is up to speculation, but I do not think that Sony would go through the cost and trouble of putting on this showcase at this time if they did not have something big, and something that could not wait until C.E.S.

We should likely hear about new features for the system in future updates as well as content for Playstation TV and perhaps Project Morpheus, their new V.R. device.

While speculation will run wild in the days leading up to the event, one thing is clear, Sony has something big to share and we cannot wait to see what it is.
