Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury

Logitech has long been known for creating quality gaming accessories at an

affordable price. As any avid gamer will tell you, having the right mouse,

headset, or keyboard can often make all the difference in how well you

play in your game of choice.

I remember a mouse that we were reviewing that earned top marks from us

and was loved by us until I tried it with the latest Call of Duty game.

The higher back end and rounded shape of the unit caused me to have slower

reaction times and as such, cost me greatly in multiplay. This remained

until I switched models and was able to regain the edge that I had.

Fractions of a second are important and the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury

FPS Gaming Mouse is a great solution for gamers looking for solid

performance without breaking the bank.

The unit contains a 32-bit on-board ARM processor which powers the

Fusion Engine in Hyperion Fury, allowing reliable and accurate tracking speeds

exceeding 500 inches per second.

For gamers who are frustrated that they got fragged when they are sure

they fired first, this mouse gives players an advantage as it quickly

transfers input into actions and does so with a sleek and comfortable unit

that is as easy to use as it is enjoyable.

The unit has 8 programmable buttons to allow maximum customizations and

with onboard memory, you can save your configurations directly to the

device should you wish.

For tech heads, the unit has 4 on the fly DPI settings which lets you

instantly shift from pixel precise targeting to lightning fast maneuvers

250-4000 DPI

The pulsating light on the unit gives it a sleek and serious look which

lets gamers know this unit is down for action.

Putting it through its paces with Call of Duty: Ghosts, Wolfenstein, The

Elder Scrolls Online, and other top games showed that the unit was

versatile and fast and once I got used to the speed, I did see an increase

in my performance.

Being tall I have big hands and at first the unit did seem a bit smaller

in my hands but I soon found the right grip and comfort level for me and

wasted no time in cutting through the enemy forces.

This is the first Logitech unit we have evaluated up close for an extended

time and I am very impressed with what I have seen so far. I have our

Seattle office set to put it through the paces soon and I look forward to

hearing what they have to say. For now, this is a great mouse at a great

price.
