E3 2014 Preview and Wishlist

At this time of year E3 wishes and predictions are as common as the sunshine that covers most of the country. With only a few weeks to go until gamers the world over turn their eyes to Los Angeles to not only get their first or most recent look at the latest and greatest in gaming, but many look forward to the announcements that will be made.

The last few weeks have seen us kept busy with meeting requests and I can tell you I am thrilled and excited with the meetings we have already confirmed. What is intriguing to me is a few of the major developers have promised us a look at titles that have not been announced but are promised to be AAA titles

Last year E3 was largely dominated by the battle between Sony and Microsoft over their pending systems and as such some companies downplayed their presence at the show.

This year we have plenty of things to look forward to and hope for.

Games such as Evolve, Borderlands: The Pre Sequel, Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within, Destiny, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare are all games that we look forward to seeing and there are some great looking tech as well planned

However, there are plenty of games that are lurking in the mist that could become the talk of the convention once thei veil of secrecy has been lifted.

Some titles that I am hoping to see include the new Star Wars games from EA as Battlefront and the as yet unnaounced titles that Visceral and Bioware are working on would be a nice treat.

EA always has a big presence at the show and aside from their sports games, new content from them is always a big draw.

Ubisoft will hopefully have The Division and Far Cry 4 as following the launch of Watch Dogs they look to be highly anticipated titles

I know it is a long shot but hearing news of the long-rumored Half Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3 would be amazing but I think those two will come when we least expect it as Valve has always done things at their own pace and are not the type of company who will think that they have to make an announcement at E3.
