Will Reiser (“I’m With Cancer”) is in negotiations to pen a narrative feature film based on the acclaimed 2007 documentary “Young@Heart” for Working Title says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Stephen Walker-directed original followed a choir of elderly men and women from Massachusetts famed for singing cover versions of various popular songs from the likes of The Clash to Coldplay.
Fox Searchlight opened the film in limited release last year. Working Title scored the remake rights back in 2007 and had Bob Nelson pen the script’s first draft.
